The best time to book is during your second trimester. I accept a limited number of newborn sessions each month so I can accommodate babies who arrive earlier or later than expected. Your session is reserved based on your due date and adjusted after your baby is born.
For those sleepy, curled-up newborn poses, I recommend scheduling your session when your baby is between 7 and 14 days old.
Yes! When you book both a maternity and newborn session, you’ll receive 15% off your newborn session.
Newborn sessions take place in my cozy, fully equipped studio located in downtown Los Gatos. In-home sessions may also be available for an additional travel fee.
Family sessions can take place throughout the Bay Area. I love photographing families at beaches, parks, gardens, redwood groves, and other beautiful outdoor locations. A travel fee may apply for locations more than 20 miles from Los Gatos.
Absolutely! Once I learn more about the style and scenery you’re looking for, I’ll send you location recommendations that fit your vision. If you already have a favorite spot, I’d love to photograph there too.
No. I provide wraps, outfits, blankets, headbands, bonnets, and a variety of carefully selected props for your baby.
Please bring a pacifier, an extra diaper, and a bottle with pumped milk or formula, even if your baby is exclusively breastfed or doesn’t normally use a pacifier. A pacifier or bottle during the session won’t create a new habit, but it can be incredibly helpful for soothing your baby and keeping the session relaxed and comfortable.
Newborn sessions are typically scheduled in the morning, when babies tend to sleep more deeply and peacefully.
Outdoor family sessions are usually scheduled during golden hour, about 1-2 hours before sunset, when the light is soft, warm, and most flattering.
Absolutely. Your baby’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Every pose is done gently and at your baby’s pace.
If the weather doesn’t cooperate, we’ll simply reschedule your outdoor session at no additional charge.
Your final gallery will be ready within two weeks.
Yes! The day after your session, you’ll receive a preview gallery and can select your favorite images for professional retouching.
Of course. Additional edited images and full galleries are always available for purchase.
